The story of Younes Seghrouchni
Ever since completing an internship in India in 2016, I have been determined to work in international cooperation. After gaining several years of experience as an environmental engineer, I began applying for positions in this sector in 2023. However, I soon realized how challenging it is to enter this field without specialized training and sufficient international exposure.
To strengthen my profile, I applied for the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) at NADEL, ETH Zurich, and was accepted in September 2024. This program allows me to deepen my knowledge and gain valuable international experience through Junior Professional Officer assignments.
Unfortunately, my personal savings were not sufficient to cover my living expenses throughout the program. I am therefore deeply grateful to the Options for Growth Foundation, through EDUCA SWISS, for supporting me with two loans that enable me to complete my studies.
Pursuing this path brings me closer to my dream of working in international cooperation and, ultimately, of contributing to a fairer and more sustainable world by helping others.
